Heading south, this trip follows the western shoreline of Cayuga Lake to Cass Park in the City of Ithaca.
This trip follows the western shore of Cayuga Lake past historic lake cottages and cottage communities; the Girl Scouts’ Camp Comstock; the Ithaca Yacht Club; and the marshes of Hog’s Hole at the southwestern end of the lake. The trip then turns southeast to travel down the Cayuga Inlet past the Allan H. Treman State Marine Park to Cass Park. Paddlers will need to watch out for motor and sail boats near the Ithaca Yacht Club and the Allan H. Treman State Marine Park.
