Taughannock Falls State Park, Trumansburg

Located near Trumansburg, Taughannock Falls in one of the highest waterfalls in the Northeast US. The 215 foot waterfall drops through a rock amphitheatre whose walls reach nearly 400 feet high. The scenic park is filed with lots of activities, including hiking, swimming, fishing, limited cross-country skiing and their Summer Concert Series on the lawn.

The park is located about 8 miles North of Ithaca or
4 miles South from Trumansburg along Route 89.
Open all year, Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Nights and weekends during summer with
camping from March to mid October.
